There are lots of nice cafe's shops and restaurants in every street of our Jordaan neigbourhood. All are good quality because competition is high. Just take a walk and have your pick! There is also a very nice indoor swimmingpool and fitnes center very closeby. Trams 10, 3, 17 and bus 18 stop near the house. But many sights can also be reached in pleasant walks along the canals.
